SolidWorks software includes many advanced surfacing tools. The Certified SolidWorks Professional Surfacing Specialist exam is used to gauge someone’s ability to utilize these tools in the creation of complex surfaces. Successful completion of this exam also shows the user’s ability to troubleshoot and fix broken surface bodies, or imported bodies that are incorrect.

The Advanced Mold Tools exam will test your ability to utilize the Mold Tools found in SolidWorks. Understanding SolidWorks Mold Tools will help to aid a user in the completion of a robust mold design in an efficient manner. Successful completion of this exam will demonstrate a users knowledge of how to correctly utilize these tools found in SolidWorks.

在職場面試上，我們最常聽到的幾個基本問題，像是：「是不是本科系畢業的阿？有沒有經驗阿？之前做過什麼樣的專案或是職務內容呢？」對於職場的新鮮人，或是跨領域轉職的朋友們，這些面試官常問的問題，似乎都站在較為弱勢的立場，別說要爭取到高薪了，就連個錄取可能都不太容易。
為什麼我們的面試官要問這些問題呢？想想，如果今天你是面試官，你是否也會在意求職者的背景，學歷與經驗。答應是肯定的，對於社會新鮮人來說，也許我們是本科系畢業，但是，有哪個新鮮人會有相關的工作經驗或豐富的資歷呢？對於轉職者來說，也許工作資歷豐富，但在相關領域上來說還是個新人。舉例來說，一個資深的麵包師傅，在麵包界頗有名氣，但轉職到工業設計產業，卻跟一般無經驗的求職者同一起跑點，這道理是顯而易見的。
作品集對許多人來說很陌生，在職訓課程的安排中，我們一在強調這個區塊，因為這是向面試官展現自己功力的方法之一，好的作品集、有深度的作品集將會讓面試官更了解你。而專業的認證一樣重要，絕大部份同學在結訓後，作品集算是完整，但有一點稍有欠缺，那就是「速度」，要知道職場上分秒必爭，過去曾經有位學員跟我這樣分享，他說：「我去面試時，對方看了我的作品集後，覺得相當完整，對我的第一印象已經是加分的了。後來他直接牽一臺腳踏車給我畫，我大概用了六個小時左右才完成。面試的結果不太理想，老闆說，我很喜歡你的作品集，也知道你有能力做出這樣的產品，但我要找的是，能在半天內完成的設計師。你再加油一下吧！」
